Sallins, Ireland

When I arrived to Ireland, I stayed with a friend and his parents in Sallins, Ireland from Sunday to Tuesday. His parents have a turkey farm, shout out to Bronze Turkeys, and live on a gorgeous piece of land that they so graciously let me explore. So, I brought my camera and walked around their field. I took photos of their neighbors horses, plants, chickens and, of course, turkeys! I also watched a frightened pheasant try to fly through a fence. It didn't work well and turned into a sad spectacle for the pheasant when it hit the fence, fell down, and awkwardly climbed over it to escape my terrifying presence. Here are a few shots I took that day. You'll have to excuse the quality. I had to get a new computer and do not yet have a photo editing program.

Yes they even have blackberries in Ireland!!

The longer I stood there, the more that showed up! I couldn't get close enough to pet them but I definitely admired them from afar.

The next day I walked along the canal and took a few more photos. But that will have to be for another day....
